Trail Tales, Part 1
I extended my walk today on the Lake Bella Vista Trail to the Wishing Spring Gallery, housed in what was once a barn where buffalo were kept. We have a lot of wonderful artists in Bella Vista, as is evidenced by these paintings on the outside of the building, where windows used to be. The gallery is located on County Highway 40 (McNelly Road) right next to Walgreens if you’re driving through town. If you visit us in mid-October you can attend a wonderful arts and crafts festival. Exhibitors are juried, items are hand crafted and must contain a certain percentage of American materials. And of course, there is a variety of food trucks, including awesome (HUGE) turkey legs. I got three meals out of mine last time.
And last but not least, the studio where meetings and classes are held (view from the trail). Stay tuned for Trail Tales, Part 2.
